A sequel to Sierra's award-winning 1994 adventure Sins of the Fathers by writer/designer Jane Jensen, The Beast Within weaves a mythical and mysterious trail of eerie supernatural lore, taking players from a New Orleans bookstore to the dark forests of Germany.
   A Bavarian village summons Gabriel Knight, a Schattenjager (detective of the supernatural), to find and destroy what they believe is a murderous werewolf. Two separate story lines unfold in six alternating chapters as Gabriel and his associate, Grace Nakimura, investigate different leads and discover a historic link between Gabriel, King Ludwig II of Bavaria and werewolves rumored to roam Germany centuries ago.
   The five-CD game was shot in a blue-screen studio by Hollywood director Will Binder.
   All in all, an outstanding game!
