Booma Webforms

One of the coolest options for operating a web site is to set up user forms. These forms can do just about everything from registering visitors to collecting names and email addresses for a mailing list. Whether you're operating a personal site or getting into e-business in a big way, forms can be an essential ingredient to a good web site.
Unfortunately, forms can also be a pain in the you-know-where. Many, many programs which allow you to create web sites will also include the ability to place a simple "mail-to" form on your site. At the basic level, from the user's perspective, there is little difference in how sophisticated the process may be. Unfortunately, from your perspective, this is not at all so.
A simple mail-to system will give you an email message from the user who fills out the form which can be a real challenge to read, much less do much with. The alternative to that gibberish is CGI-BIN programming, which is a whole subject in itself. And, while there are a bunch of pre-made form handlers you can download for free, figuring out what you do with them (as long as you have CGI-BIN access on your web host) can be almost as painful as learning to program in the first place.
For all those reasons and more, BOOMA Webforms from Boomasoft is a must-have if you are going to do a web page and want good, meaningful and useful forms. Its a piece of cake to set up the forms; the responses come in plain English right into a database all ready for you to make use of them.
And – tah-tah – BOOMA Webforms also provides you with extremely sophisticated autoresponders, which means the person who fills out your form will have an email almost immediately thanking them for doing so or, even, confirming an order!
Everything about BOOMA Webforms is top notch. Once it processes the forms people send you, it places them into a database from which you can filter and search at will. This task is so flexible that you can send email to any customer who, for instance, previously bought left-handed monkey wrentches to inform them that your supply of left-handed screwdrivers are now in stock.
Similarly, the auto-responder allows you to capture elements from the user's form and personalize the automated reply. "Thank you, Mr. Jones,  for your order of a left-handed monkey wrentch" is certainly more personal than "thank you for your order." While I am using business-type examples, you can use this just to thank someone for visiting your site.
BOOMA Webforms comes with a 112 page manual which takes you through the entire process of creating the form to manipulating the database and constructing the autoresponders in excellent detail. You don't have to know a thing about this subject to make it work, and work well, the first time out.
I love a program which sets out to do something complicated and does it with ease. BOOMA Webforms meets this criteria and more. I recommend it to you most highly.
