Desktop To Go

I have heard the siren song of the Palm Pilot.
It is a marvelous device. Handy. Portable. All those nifty things.
Unless I am at home. Then, I revert back to my trusty computer to keep up with things. The problem there is everything has to be entered twice – in the Palm Pilot and in the computer.
   No more.
Allow me to introduce all you fellow Palm Pilot connected persons to Desktop To Go by Dadaviz. It is the solution to this problem. It is fast. It is efficient. And, most importantly, it has some very neat options which allows you to do more than just dump all your data from one machine to another.
This last is most important. Say you had a very productive week networking with all sorts of people and you spent part of your evenings transferring their business card info into your Palm Pilot. Now you're home and you need those contacts – especially those email addresses – in Outlook.
Just syncronize. It will even syncronize alarms and handle multiple addresses. It even sets up to four custom Outlook fields in your Palm Pilot.
In short, Desktop To Go is a dream.
Not only does it syncronize what you want, it will not syncronize what you don't want. As an example, if you have stuff on the computer you don't want on the Palm Pilor (or vice versa), just tell Desktop To Go. It will only syncronize one way. The same goes for calendar datesa: tell the program what range of dates you want syncronized and that is what you will get.
Desktop To Go works with all versions of the Palm Pilot, the IBM WorkPad and any other device which uses the Palm operating system. It syncs with Outlook 97 through 2000 and Schedule+ 7.0 through 7.5.
Desktop To Go is wonderful: the solution to syncronization.

DOCUMENTS
TO GO

It is not often we combine two reviews on one page, but Documents To Go, also from Dataviz, is such a simple, yet powerful, solution to the problem of moving PC files to your Palm OS organizer, that there is little to say other than it does just what it says it can do and does it excellently.
The problem is that you've created a spreadsheet or a worksheet on your PC and would like to take it with you. With Documents To Go, and a press of the sync button, you can.
Documents To Go will also update the files for you when you sync. Suppose you have an invitation list which your secretary has changed as the RSVPs come in. One sync between your computer and your Palm Pilot updates that list!
It works with all the main Windows and Mac word processors and spreadsheets.
