MacDrive 95

Let me tell you how MacDrive 95 saved the day the other day.
It was a dark and gloomy night . . .
Actually, it was, and a client had just given us the last page for a magazine we were publishing: a ZIP MADRIVE 95Disk from an advertising agency which had thoughtfully put the entire full-page ad on the disk for us to "make it easier."
We knew we were in trouble when we looked at the ZIP Disk and discovered it said "formatted for Macintosh."
After the artist stuck the disk into her Zip drive and couldn't read a thing it looked like the magazine was going to miss its deadline. A frantic "what do I do" call to the company guru, however, sent the artist scurrying to the shelves of review material for a program called MacDrive 95. Ten minutes later she was happily reading the heretofore unusable Mac disk. Crisis averted.
MacDrive 95 does not convert Mac files to PC files, but it does make it possible to read Mac disks. Usually, this is all you need to do. It was the other night: the ad was in PageMaker format but PageMaker files for the PC and the Mac are compatible, as long as you can read them.
We're talking about an artist, here, not a computer person. Let me tell you what she said: "this was so easy, all I did was install the program, start it up, and then loaded the*%#@ Mac file into PageMaker.
   "It was cool."
I don't know of any finer recommendation for a program. This one works!
