You simply select an image from several thousand available, drag that image into the border representation, click a button and, viola, a border! Well, if that was all you wanted to do, it
would be enough. But that is just the beginning of the things Ornamatica can do for you. As a start, you can specify the size of the border. So, if you want a border 2 inches wide by 5 inches deep,
you just tell Ornamatica that is what you want. Then, if you wish, you can tell it how many tiles you want horizontally and vertically. Once you've done this, just drag a graphic into the border, click a button, and
you have the border. But, as everyone knows who has ever done this sort of thing, you may want the corners to be different: different size, different color, rotated, angled, whatever. You can do it
with Ornamatica! I was most impressed with the size and scope of Ornamatica's gallery of images, which can be displayed in a little window all by itself. It is from this window that you drag a
graphic onto the border you are creating. In addition, however, Ornamatica allows you to import your own graphics into the gallery in several formats, including CordelDraw! and as a Windows Metafile.
