Suppose that you're using Word for Windows 95 and you get a text file in a format you've never heard of. Word has "import filters" for several popular competing applications, but if your file
is in some really unusual format like MASS-11 or Samna Word IV+ you may be in trouble. Quick View Plus, however, lets you look at the file with most formatting intact - things like centering, justification, tables,
embedded graphics and even font selections - and also lets you copy the file (or only a part) to the Clipboard and then paste it into a new document in your preferred Windows application.
In some cases there may be minor differences between the formatting you get and what you would have had in the native program, but QVP is still better than nothing - a lot better - and it's gotten us
out of several such jams. You can also print the file or send it as electronic mail using Windows Messaging (the Microsoft Exchange client).
