If Microsoft can do it, someone can do it better.
   That is certainly the case with Targets by Moon Software. It takes Microsoft's "Send To" feature, adds a whole lot of "Shazzam" to it and gives you the Captain Marvel of file transfer programs.
   (For those of you who are unfamiliar with Captain Marvel, I always liked him better than Superman. For one thing he didn't have to fool with any Lois Lane problems and for another he never ducked in phone booths: all he did was say the secret word, "Shazzam," he he was Captain Marvel.)
     Anyway, one look at the menu which appears when you right-click on a file and then click on "Targets" will show you this program is full of super stuff. The truth is that we generally move files into a few particular directories over and over again, so by configuring special locations, we have them right here at our fingertips – or right on Target, for lack of a better phrase.
   Notice that Targets also lets you browse for as folder like Microsoft's "Send To," but while that's about it for "Send To," its just a jumping-off point for Targets!
   There are also groups of locations you can manipulate (in doing these web pages, I usually move my graphics into two locations and then, later, delete one of them). Note the Desktop and Clipboard as Name(s) options as well. Excellent.
   Targets is easy to use, fast and well thought out. Just the other day I was helping someone set up some directories for special projects. I stopped the project about 5 minutes after starting it. Being used to using Targets, the process was really very cumbersome and difficult. We downloaded Targets. Managing files was worth living again!
   Once you've used this fine program, you'll never be happy without it.
